Today I was gobsmacked to receive a call from the fantabulous Tegan Tigani of Queen Anne Books, who informed me that the American Booksellers Association has chosen Unusual Chickens as an “Indies Introduce” pick!
Each season, a panel of ABA independent bookstores choose ten adult debut novels and a mix of ten middle grade and young adult debut novels (the “New Voices”) to highlight in participating indie bookstores. Ask your independent bookstore for the current Fall 2014 titles, and look for Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer next spring!
